The ladies pruning knife is smaller than the gardeners pocket knife with a slightly curved blade to make taking of cuttings and pruning easier.

The blade is made of high-carbon steel which gives the best possible cutting performance and edge, but if left damp it will be prone to rust, so it is best wiped down with an oiled cloth after use.

The linings are solid brass to prevent the blade seizing up and the handle is dark brown rosewood, shaped to fit neatly into a woman’s hand or pocket. This is a very beautiful and practical knife for gardening.

The handle is 8.5cm and the blade is 6.5cm.
