These mugs are made in the traditional potteries of Stock-on-Trent, using designs by stylist Atlanta Bartlett. The designs are new, but based on classic botancial drawings.

Two interesting facts about the Lepidoptera inside the mugs:
- Hawk moths can fly very fast, up to 30mph. They are also very clever at flying sideways while hovering, a feat few insects can master
- The large blue butterfly exists in 37 countries, but like so many insects is in serious decline. And they only live for 4 or 5 days.
